Delta Platinum Business Welcome Offer
this Delta Platinum Business Allow new card members to earn 100,000 miles after spending $8,000 in purchases within the first six months of card membership. This offer ends on October 29th.
TPG’s September 2025 valuation of Peg Skymiles is 1.15 cents a cent, and this welcome offer is worth $1,150. This is the highest offer we usually see on the card (excluding the $100 spending credit with higher spending requirements), and it was the last available in July.
The U.S. Express Limits that can be applied for, and if you previously held the card for its millennium limit or currently own it, you are usually not eligible for a welcome bonus. American Express will let you know if you are not eligible for a welcome offer before working to improve your credibility, so be aware of any messages that pop up when applying.

Delta Platinum Business AMEX Benefits
Even without free access to the lounge Delta Platinum Business There are many features worth considering for a regular Delta business flyer:
- Reward flight discount: Receive reward redemption for Delta flights (use this card to pay taxes and fees).
- Companion Certificate: Use this companion certificate to bring companions on your next delta roundtrip flight. This is beneficial for the main cabin round trip flights that renew the card every year, and is valid for all trips to 50 U.S. states, Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico.
- Free upgrade: Free seating upgrades on qualified flights after the Medal members are card members who are not Medal members.
- Free check bag: When flying the Delta, you and up to eight travelers with the same booking will get your first check bag for free. Even if you travel alone, the regular price for each direction will be $35 per bag in each direction, which saves you at least $70 per round trip flight, where you will check a bag.
- Medal Qualification Dollar Gate: Get 2,500 MQDs automatically deposited in each calendar year.
- MQD Boost: Earn 1 MQD for every $20.

- Delta keeps credit: Annual statement year up to $200 per year, Delta Stay, Delta’s Hotel Portal.
- Global Entry/TSA Precheck Credit: You will receive a global entry or TSA Precheck fee statement credit ($120 per four years for global admission, $85 per 45 years for TSA Precheck).
- Hertz five-star identity: Free Hertz five-star status, medium-stage elite status. (Requires participation in the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program.)
- On-board discount: When using this card, you will receive a 20% stated credit on purchases, including transfers of pre-ordered meals and food, alcoholic beverages and audio headphones.
- Priority boarding: You and the eight other travelers on the same booking will enjoy up to 5-zone priority boarding on your Delta flights.
- Re-credit: Annual Declaration Credits ($10 per month) for up to $120 per calendar year in Resy Restaurants in the United States.
- Car credit: A ride statement credit limit of up to $120 per calendar year ($10 per month).

Earn miles on Delta Platinum Business Amex
and Delta Platinum Businessyou will earn:
- Buy directly at hotels and qualified Delta every 3 miles per dollar directly at global hotels and qualifying Delta, including flights, Delta vacation packages, seat upgrades and options, Delta Sky Club membership or pass, pre-order and transfer meals, in-flight alcoholic beverages and audio beverages
- 1.5 miles per dollar for shipping, qualified U.S. shipping and eligible purchases over $5,000 (up to $100,000 per year, 1 mile per dollar thereafter)
- 1 mile per dollar for all other eligible purchases
According to TPG’s September 2025 valuation, this revenue structure may be good if your business is making large purchases frequently, but it does not provide the best returns for these purchases, as it equates to about 3.5%, 1.7% and 1.2% return on spending, respectively, according to TPG’s September 2025 valuation.

Redemption miles on Delta Platinum Business Amex
Your best choice is almost always to redeem Skymiles for airplane travel. Not only do you have mileage on Delta, but it’s also great at Delta’s other Skyteam Airline Partners and non-business operators like Westjet.
It does take extra work to find a bargain for the Delta, as it doesn’t post reward charts (and periodically adjust prices on many routes), but they’re there. Check out Delta’s Skymiles transaction page for valuable discounts on Economy Class round trip tickets and Delta tickets and Delta One in a specific city pair.
Seat upgrades are also an option, but there is no rewards list, so you don’t know how many miles it will cost before booking your ticket. (Usually not a good value.)
You can also use mileage for upgrades on your partner, French klm and Virgin Atlantic flights, but know that you are not getting the best value for them.
Select this option only if you do need to do a longer flight upgrade – for example Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) via Europe in France or KLM to Johannesburg or Tambo International Airport (JNB) – you want to save cash.
since Delta Platinum Business Without Delta Sky Club Airport Lounge membership, you can also redeem Skymiles, although frankly, it brings you horrible value.
You can also transfer, gift or donate your miles to charities. But again, redeeming miles on Delta and partner flights will often give you the best value.

Is Amex worth it in Delta Platinum Business?
The card is best suited for small business owners and frequently used Delta Flyers, and these flyers maximize their airline-specific privileges. If used strategically, the annual companion certificate alone can offset the $350 annual fee, and privileges such as free check bags, priority boarding and automatic elite residency headstart add meaningful value.
That said, if you don’t fly the delta several times a year, the cost can be difficult to prove. The lack of access to the air club is also a significant drawback compared to the advanced alternatives, especially for travelers who value lounge access.
Bottom line
this Delta Platinum Business It is a reliable midterm option for Delta loyalists who want to improve their elite identities quickly and leverage their peer certificates of the year. If you check the bag regularly, fly the Delta multiple times a year, and can take advantage of the included stated credit, the $350 annual fee can be paid by yourself.
However, if you rarely fly the delta – or if the lounge accesses your travel experience is crucial, this card may not be the best fit.
