Steve McQueen’s granddaughter lawsuit for $68. Pollock Painting

The granddaughter of actor Steve McQueen is suing a South Carolina lawyer whose paintings are worth $68 million.
Attorney Brent Borchert told Mirror He grew up, and Pollock’s paintings hung on the wall of his parents’ home. After the deaths of his late parents, Rudolph and Pamela, Borchert and his sister Bettina were bequeathed to Pollock paintings, as well as their remaining collection of artworks in Malibu, California. Borchert now lives in South Carolina with his family.
In August, McQueen’s granddaughter, Molly McQueen, filed a lawsuit in the California Superior Court in Los Angeles County, claiming that the late legend is the legal owner of the painting.
In the lawsuit, she claimed that “actor Steve McQueen transferred Jackson Pollock’s drop painting to Rudolph and Pamela Borchert in an expectation of swapping motorcycles and latigo Canyon properties. However, one of the Borcherts crashed a motorcycle and the property never changed its title.”
Steve McQueen “requested the return of the Pollock painting within a reasonable time when the exchange of the property did not occur. However, Borcherts failed to return the painting to Steve McQueen.” Molly McQueen argued that she “has the right to own the painting immediately.”
Although Borchert admits Mirror He also said that the situation “had a vague bell ringed,” I don’t know if I was even born when the deal happened…this isn’t something I talked about with my dad. But I once talked to my mom and asked, ‘What is the deal with Jackson Pollock’s painting? “Your father made some kind of deal,” she said. “It was a quick conversation, but I remember she might have mentioned a motorcycle and a house.”
“If they want to make sense, then they can show me something that makes me believe that something is wrong and I will make an agreement. But if they can’t, I won’t.” Mirror.
Steve McQueen is nicknamed “King of Cool” and is an American actor Escape (1963), Bullitt (1968), and Papillon (1973). He died in 1980 due to a heart attack, and at this point he has been battling mesothelioma, which is caused by cancer due to asbestos exposure.
