The answer is absolutely correct, and when I train them I teach junior recruiters.
Are you playing on other people’s rules?
How do you tell the hiring manager that is lying to you? I am Jeff Altman, Big Game Hunter. People don’t have employed my BS job coaches and career advice worldwide because the process of finding a job and being successful is easier. Visit my website in the Jobsearch.com community. I’ve been there with a lot of help, including resume criticism, content, the ability to hire me to guide you, and a lot more.
The answer to this question sounds like BS, but it happens to be true: How can you tell the hiring manager that is lying to you? How do you tell everyone in the organization that lies to you? Their lips are moving.
Let me explain. The way you can say it is that no one explains to you what happened in the last three jobs. The last three people sitting on that table are doing the work they are asking you to do. No one talks about group mistakes. No one can explain the problem of people in the group kicking out the door. No one talks about a salary increase that is so small. No one tells you the full story. They all put on a happy smile button and had a great opportunity to talk with you about it with a great group of people. “Did I mention that we are like family here?” Yes, in holiday movies, people want to put guns on their heads and shoot.
So, I simply say, don’t believe what they told you. Check it out yourself. Find it out by yourself. If you have questions, please talk to someone like me so I can help you solve it. I would love to help.
