Save big: Get up to $370 back on hotel stays with new American Express and Delta cardholder offers
There’s a great Amex deal right now where you can get $120 back on hotel bookings over $600 through Delta Stays, and if you have a Delta Air Lines American Express co-branded card, you can stack it with Delta Stays statement points.
Delta Stay Deals are annual statement credits for prepaid hotels or vacation rentals booked through the Delta Hotels platform powered by Expedia. The rebate amount ranges from $100 to $250, depending on which card you have.

Unfortunately, not everyone at TPG has been targeted by this offer, but it’s definitely worth checking your offer page to see if you’re one of the lucky ones. Note: American Express card benefits are not available with Delta Vacation Rentals.

How to book with Delta Stays

Booking with this points is easy and can be done in just a few simple steps:
- First, visit the Delta Lodging website and select the “Accommodations” (for hotels) or “Vacation Rentals” tab.
- Then enter your destination, dates, length of stay and number of travelers.
- Next, select the property you would like to live in.
- At checkout, select a prepaid rate to earn points. Many prepaid rates are fully refundable to give you flexibility if your plans change – but avoid the “book now, pay at hotel” option as they are not prepaid.
- Finally, pay with your Delta credit card.
Which cards offer Delta Stay Points?
Six of seven Delta cards offer statement credit; the only one that doesn’t offer credit is the entry level Delta SkyMiles Blue American Express Card. Here’s the annual amount broken down by card:

How I use Delta Stays points
I’ve been able to use up to $200 in statement credit that came with my account Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card This year and last year.

I used it when staying in Atlanta in 2024 and again this August at the Hyatt Regency Seattle. My stay was $328 and after checkout it was only $128.

While looking for a future trip, I saw a deal on Delta Stays for a two-night stay in October at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort & Spa in Hawaii for $641. If you book with a Delta Stays credit card, you’ll get up to $250 in statement credit (depending on which card you have) and an additional $120 back when you activate the American Express offer. That brings the cost of a two-night stay of $641 to $271. Pretty striking if you ask me.
Since the offer is valid for prepaid stays, you can use it for hotel stays next year even after the Amex offer expires on December 31, 2025.
