Wyndham Rewards Insider Subscription: Is It Worth $95?

Hotel credit cards are often the fastest way to earn elite status, higher earn rates, and discounts. While a Wyndham Rewards card is definitely worth keeping with you, it’s also worth considering signing up for the new Wyndham Rewards Insider subscription, launching October 21st.
Wyndham Rewards Insider is a new membership program that costs $95 per year. However, by the end of 2025, new subscribers will pay the 12-month price and get 14 months, plus a 7,500-point bonus. According to TPG’s October 2025 valuation, 7,500 Wyndham points are worth $82.50. So if you sign up in 2025, you can get a 14-month Wyndham Rewards Insider trial for an effective cost of just $12.50.
Several other hotel loyalty programs also offer memberships that you can purchase, such as IHG’s InterContinental Ambassador and Accor+ Ibis and Voyager programs. FoundersCard is another popular loyalty card. But Wyndham Rewards Insider is a different type of membership that offers travel and entertainment benefits.
FoundersCard information is collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

If you decide to redeem Wyndham points through Ticketmaster, you’ll typically get a redemption rate of 0.248 cents per point, although a Wyndham Rewards spokesperson told TPG via email that the program may offer higher redemption rates for certain events.
bottom line
It’s hard to determine how much value a Wyndham Rewards Insider membership provides until you sign up and give it a try. However, if you sign up before the end of the year, you can get a 14-month subscription and 7,500 points for a $95 membership fee, so now is a good time to give it a try. But remember, your subscription will automatically renew every year unless you cancel online or by phone at least one day before your renewal date.
