It doesn’t have to cost a lot to do something that demonstrates your commitment to your career.
Don’t be a follower – design your career path
One way to make yourself desirable to a new employer is to obtain certification in a marketable area of expertise that will be valuable to the employer. Where can you do this without spending thousands of dollars?
The first one is you can do this on LinkedIn Learning. Now, if you have a premium account, it comes with it. So use LinkedIn Learning; search for courses covering certifications in different fields. If you don’t want to do LinkedIn Learning (usually on sites like Udemy (UDMY)), you can purchase courses that earn you certification upon completion, which can help you stand out from others.
One of the benefits of LinkedIn Learning is that upon successful completion of the program, you can automatically add this certification to your LinkedIn profile.
