Deal Alert: Fly to Europe with Lufthansa for just 88 miles (earn for free with this exclusive offer)

Lufthansa’s Miles & More loyalty program is now a 1:1 transfer partner of the new Rove Miles rewards program, with select economy class awards to Germany and Switzerland currently on sale for just 88 miles one-way, plus taxes.

This is the lowest mileage price we’ve ever seen on a transatlantic flight.

This means the miles portion can be paid for with a small Rove balance – if you don’t have any Rove miles, you can now earn 1,000 miles for free just by signing up with TPG’s exclusive offer. To sweeten the deal, for your first hotel reservation at Rove, you’ll receive 5,000 bonus miles in your account when you spend $500 or more. Be sure to use the code "TPG" At checkout.

How to find the availability of this deal

You must have at least 1,500 miles in your Miles & More account to view real-time award availability. However, the time-saving Seats.aero tool shows availability at Miles & More, which can help you find availability at these prices.

While Seats.aero is a great starting point, we recommend confirming availability directly with the airline before transferring Rove miles to ensure accuracy. If you are in the United States, please call 1-800-581-6400 and have your Miles & More password, travel dates, applicable airport code and flight number ready. This will help the attendant quickly confirm the availability of the reward.

How to earn the miles required for this offer

While Lufthansa’s Miles & More program doesn’t work with any major transferable credit card currencies, you can transfer Rove Miles to Miles & More at a 1:1 exchange rate.

Rove is offering 500 miles to new signups, but through TPG’s exclusive offer link, you can earn 1,000 Rove miles, which will be available for immediate use.

Please note that the minimum amount to transfer into partner programs such as Lufthansa Miles & More is 2,000 Rove Miles (subsequent increments may vary by partner). It’s easy to earn lots of extra Rove miles to bring your balance over 2,000 miles, just be aware of when different types of miles are released (according to the Rove Miles website):

  • Flight: Within 24 hours after the flight lands
  • Non-refundable hotels: refund immediately after booking
  • Refundable hotels: 24 hours after check-out
  • Rove Shopping: Tracked as pending within 24 hours, fully posted within 30-100 days, depending on each merchant

So, if you want to book this offer now but don’t have any Lufthansa miles (or Rove Miles), register and then earn miles by booking non-refundable hotels through Rove Miles, which you can transfer to Miles & More to book this offer.

Remember, for first hotel bookings of $500 or more, use code "TPG" Earn 5,000 Rove bonus miles.

bottom line

Redeeming just 88 miles for a Lufthansa economy ticket is a great opportunity and the lowest mileage rate we’ve seen in Europe.

If you’re interested, be sure to sign up for the Rove Miles rewards program and earn 1,000 miles today. Before transferring at least 2,000 Rove miles to Lufthansa’s Miles & More program, consider other ways to earn an additional 1,000 miles and confirm award space.
