How long does it take to transfer a Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer?
Most transfers from Chase Ultimate Rewards to its partner programs are instant. However, in our recent testing, transferring to KrisFlyer Singapore took approximately 48 hours. Delays in transferring points can also occur due to some simple reasons.
To facilitate the transfer process, please make sure the name on your Ultimate Rewards account matches the name on your loyalty program account. Also, make sure you sign up for the loyalty program in advance, as trying to transfer to a new account may also cause delays.
How do I transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to a partner?
You can easily transfer Chase points online. First, log into your Chase account and navigate to the Ultimate Rewards portal. Under the “Travel” drop-down menu, select “Transfer points to a partner” to access the main transfer page.
You will then see a list of transfer partners and any current transfer bonuses. Select your desired transfer partner, link your external account (if you haven’t done so already), select the number of Ultimate Rewards points you want to transfer, and submit the transfer.

Keep in mind that Ultimate Rewards transfers cannot be reversed, so it’s best to wait until you have specific redemptions in mind before transferring points.

What is the best Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer partner?
If you’re looking to transfer points to one of 10 different airline program partners, the best redemption option for you may vary depending on a variety of factors, such as the airlines flying to and from the destinations you want to visit and the airlines you prefer to fly.
However, certain airline transfer options have significant advantages, especially those programs that maintain award rankings.
Here are some of our favorite partners for booking with Chase points.
Book return flights to Madrid with Iberia Club

Flying from the United States to Spain doesn’t have to cost thousands of dollars. Instead, you can book a round-trip economy flight to Madrid for as low as 13,000 Chase points by transferring your rewards to Iberia Club.
Round-trip, off-peak flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) to the Spanish capital save just 32,000 Avios in basic economy, 59,000 in premium economy and 81,000 in business class when you transfer Chase points to Iberia Club Points, plus applicable taxes and fees, though airlines sometimes offer award discounts that can mean cheaper seats.
Considering many airlines charge around 60,000 miles for a one-way business class award to Europe, booking an off-peak business class flight to Madrid through Iberia Club for just 40,500 Avios one-way is a great option.
Book flights to Hawaii with British Air Club
Did you know you can use Chase points to book flights on American Airlines and Alaska Airlines? Although these airlines’ loyalty programs are not direct transfer partners of Chase, you can book flights with these airlines by transferring Ultimate Rewards points to the British Airways Club loyalty program, and then redeem British Airways Avios for award flights with its Oneworld partners.
Typically, you can find economy class flights to various Hawaii airports from American Airlines and Alaska’s West Coast gateway for 40,000 Avios round-trip, or 20,000 Avios one-way, plus $5.60 in taxes and fees.

Book a lie-flat business class seat to London with Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
Did London call? While Virgin Atlantic Flight Club award seat prices are dynamically priced, the loyalty program offers reduced fares on travel dates with less demand. If you’re flexible and have space, you can score a lie-flat business class seat from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to London Heathrow (LHR) in a recent deal for as little as 29,000 points, though be aware that you’ll also have to pay about $563 in taxes, fees and surcharges each way. Typically, however, these rewards require 47,500-55,000 Virgin Points.
If you want to use your hard-earned points more frugally, you can fly the exact same route in economy class for just 6,000 points, plus about $100 to $300 in taxes and fees, depending on the route. You can use Virgin Atlantic’s award seat checker to find great fares, or use an award booking platform like Seats.aero to help you search for dates and prices.
However, be sure to confirm award availability with the airline before booking a seat.
Book your stay at top Hyatt hotels through World of Hyatt
You can also transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to World of Hyatt for great value rewards. The hotel loyalty program offers a very attractive rewards chart divided into different categories along with peak, off-peak and standard dates.
By transferring your Chase points to Hyatt, you can book at some of the most luxurious Park Hyatt hotels in the entire portfolio, including Park Hyatt London Thames, starting at 25,000 points per night during off-peak hours.

TPG values Hyatt points at 1.7 cents each (based on our November 2025 valuation), so 25,000 points are worth $425. That’s a pretty good deal for a hotel room that typically sells for more than $700 a night.

How much are Chase Ultimate Rewards points worth?
TPG values Ultimate Rewards points at 2.05 cents per point based on our November 2025 valuation, but you can get more value by transferring points to airline and hotel partners.
However, if you pursue other redemption opportunities, you will receive a different Chase point value.
For example, because of the added point bonus, each Ultimate Rewards point is worth up to 2 cents if you book with Chase Travel℠ Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and charges) or Chase Sapphire Business Reserve℠ (See Rates and Fees). If you hold, you can earn rewards of up to 1.75 cents per point through the portal Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and charges) or Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card.

bottom line
Chase Ultimate Rewards is one of the best points programs out there if you value the flexibility of choosing from 10 airline partners and 3 hotel partners.
In an age when some loyalty programs lose value without notice, it’s smart to earn Ultimate Rewards points through credit card welcome offers, category rewards, and everyday purchases, and then hold on to the points until you’re ready to connect and book with an airline or hotel partner, which is why earning Chase Ultimate Rewards points is a very savvy travel strategy.
