Our mood and attitude can influence how we approach our job search and find a job faster. When you’re in a panic, here’s how to get out of it so you don’t self-destruct.
Things you don’t do will get you rejected from the interview
It is indeed difficult to find a job, especially now that there are relatively few jobs and many people are unemployed. Especially in white-collar occupations, it is easy to fall into trouble. Here’s a way to get yourself out of trouble. I’m Jeff Altman, big game hunter. This is what I want you to do. I want you to write a list for yourself about why you would be a good employer, what your abilities are, your personality, how you fit into a team, how you achieve results. Make this list huge. Seriously, make it huge. Once you do that, read it once a day, or every other day at the latest, because amidst all the hardship, being reminded in your own words of the good things you can do for the organization can eliminate all the other crap you might be thinking of.
