Club Med’s new all-inclusive ski resort is about to open

Those who like to combine the ease of an all-inclusive vacation with the excitement of a ski trip are sure to be in for a treat. Club Med, which has focused on all-inclusive ski-in/ski-out experiences in recent years, will open its second Canadian location in 2028 at Mont Tremblant Ski Resort. This follows the success of Club Med Charlevoix, Quebec, which opened in Le Massif de Charlevoix ahead of the 2021-22 ski season.

The newest resort is the result of a partnership between Club Med, French management company Alderan and Station Mont-Tremblant, which will “draw inspiration from contemporary Alpine chalets, blending playful charm with an unmistakable warm and inviting atmosphere,” according to a press release.

Club Med’s all-inclusive ski-in/ski-out model is similar to what you might encounter at a beach destination like Cancun, Mexico, but aimed at skiers and riders. The resort’s nightly rate includes everything you need for your idyllic ski vacation, from meals and drinks to lift tickets and ski lessons, eliminating the complex logistics that often arise when planning a ski vacation. Mont Tremblant is home to an alpine village reminiscent of a French ski town, which will serve as a stunning backdrop to the resort.

But if you’re not a skier or rider, the new Club Med resort is still worth checking out. Located in the Laurentian Mountains, Lake Tremblant is an ideal place for hikers and water sports enthusiasts in spring, summer and fall. In the winter, non-skiers can try activities like snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and even ice climbing. For those who prefer to relax, the new resort will offer a range of wellness experiences and facilities, including a luxury spa.

Club Med is also known for its commitment to sustainability, which has led to its partnership with the City of Mont-Tremblant to ensure the new resort blends seamlessly into the region’s natural and cultural landscape. The project will seek LEED and Green Globe operational certifications, which will ensure the construction and operation of the resort have minimal environmental impact.

The addition of Club Med resorts means more to the ski area than just another ski-in/ski-out option. The partnership between Station Mont-Tremblant and Club Med, which becomes official in November 2025, includes several mountain upgrades planned over the next few years to enhance the overall ski experience, but details on specific upgrades are limited. The partnership will also focus on ski school services, providing hotel guests with curated ski lessons from skilled instructors.

Mont-Tremblant is ideally located just an hour and a half from Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), so getting to the new resort is as easy as the accommodation itself. Club Med has been working to expand its all-inclusive resort model into skiing, and its latest project likely won’t be the last we see in North America.

We’re still awaiting information on starting prices for the new resort and whether it will join any luxury hotel programs offered by credit card issuers, so stay tuned for more information.
