Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to British Airways Club at a 1:1 ratio in increments of 1,000 points. This means that if you transfer 10,000 Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways Club, you will receive 10,000 Avios.

Ultimate Rewards points are also transferable at a 1:1 ratio to the following programs that use Avios as the loyalty currency:

How long does it take to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways Club?
According to TPG’s testing, transfers from Chase to British Airways are generally instant, so Avios should appear in your British Airways Club account within minutes; however, delays can sometimes occur.
It is best to confirm reward availability before transferring Ultimate Rewards points, as transfers are irreversible.

How do I transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways Club?
To transfer Chase points to British Airways Club, visit the Ultimate Rewards website, log into your account and select your Ultimate Rewards earning card (if you have more than one).
You should then see the dashboard page for the card account you selected. Click the “Travel” drop-down option at the top of the dashboard and select “Transfer points to a partner.”

You’ll be directed to a page showing all of Chase’s transfer partners. Scroll down and click on the British Airways row in the Airlines section.
To continue, click “Transfer Points” to access the page where you can enter and confirm your British Airways Club information. If you have previously transferred Chase points to British Airways, you only need to confirm your British Airways Club number. You can choose to transfer Ultimate Rewards points to your own British Airways Club account or an Authorized User’s British Airways Club account.

Enter the number of Chase Points you wish to transfer to British Airways. Rewards must be transferred in increments of 1,000, so you must transfer at least 1,000 points.

Click Next to go to the summary page, review the transfer details, and click Submit to confirm your transfer request.

Remember, transfers cannot be undone.
When should you transfer Chase points to British Airways?
TPG values Chase Ultimate Rewards points at 2.05 cents per point and Avios points at 1.4 cents per point, based on TPG’s December 2025 valuations.
You should also compare the value you get when you redeem your Avios directly for award travel versus the value you get when you book with cash or redeem Ultimate Rewards points through the Chase Travel℠ portal.

- Short-haul domestic flights on American Airlines or Alaska Airlines: Book a flight up to 650 miles in length for just 13,500 Avios one-way (plus $5.60 tax), such as from New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to South Carolina’s Charleston International Airport (CHS)
- West Coast to Hawaii: You can fly nonstop from the West Coast to Hawaii with American Airlines or Alaska Airlines for just 22,000 Avios one-way (plus $5.60 tax) on flights up to 3,000 miles in length. One of the routes is from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) to Hawaii’s Keahole Ellison Onizuka-Kona International Airport (KOA), a flight time of nearly 7 hours.
- Qatar Airways Qsuite to Doha: A premium option for those who want to fly one of the best business class cabins in the world, flights to Hamad International Airport (DOH) from select North American airports can be purchased for just 70,000 British Airways Avios (excluding taxes and fees), making this a fantastic deal when available.
- Direct flights to Europe with Aer Lingus: Off-peak flights from the Northeast to Ireland are just 15,500 Avios one-way (excluding taxes and fees), which is a very good price for a transatlantic crossing.
