What do you say in an interview when you’re nervous? #shorts

It’s common to feel nervous during an interview. Before you get used to interviewing through practice and repetition, do the following.

How to Find a Hiring Manager

Interviewers can smell your nervousness; they can pick up on it. They might hear it in your voice. They may hear this in your answers, your demeanor, or sudden movements that seem inappropriate.

I just don’t think there’s any point in pretending to hide it. I think, if anything, when you tell them “I’m sorry, I’m a little nervous. This is my second interview and I really want to do a good job for you,” they’re like “Oh, that’s okay.” They just want to calm you down and try to be nice to you.

If from time to time you need to pause, take a deep breath, and say, “Please be patient for a second,” before coming back to your answer, they will appreciate the fact that you are trying to calm yourself down.
