Hi, I’m Jeff Altman, the big hunter. I’m called a “big game hunter” because I’ve been looking for leaders and employees for organizations for over 40 years. For those who leave the army or are about to leave the army, I’m sorry, I’m fighting the last remains of hanging bugs.
For those who have been trying to leave the armed forces, you probably haven’t considered a very good payment, and I remember today when I was talking to someone who was showing up on the job search station. The option is to work for foreign governments. I’m not talking about fighting, I’m training.
Today, I am interviewing someone and as part of some preparations for the interview, I will work for Americans in Saudi Arabia next week. He raised the topic that for veterans with training backgrounds, some of Saudi options pay a lot without local taxes. We live in compounds isolated from local populations.
So there are some limitations where you can do, but the government treats people very well. Now, this may not be your tea. It doesn’t matter.
No one pays for it, and I am not advocating it for it. I’m just simply saying that this is one of the options available to you, it’s an option, and in many ways it’s easier than a state where you’re operating in the U.S. know nothing about what you can do.
