Air fryer frozen chicken wings

These wings were crispy on the outside but stayed juicy on the inside, even though we took them straight out of the freezer to begin with, which was tough. The air fryer works its little magic and makes the skin golden and crispy without frying. A little olive oil, salt, pepper, and your favorite BBQ or wing sauce take these wings from simple to irresistible. They’re perfect for game day and an easy dinner when you don’t feel like cooking.

How to Make Frozen Chicken Wings in an Air Fryer

  1. Set air fryer to 400°F. Preheating helps the wings get crispy from the start.
If your model doesn’t have a preheat button, just let it idle for 3 to 4 minutes.Ingredients for air fryer frozen chicken wingsIngredients for air fryer frozen chicken wings
  2. Take the wings straight from the refrigerator. Do not defrost. Do not rinse. Simply place frozen chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. It would be nice if a few stick together. Once cooking begins, they will separate. Drizzle the wings with olive oil and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Stir a little to distribute the seasoning evenly.Season the chicken wings in the air fryerSeason the chicken wings in the air fryer
  3. Air fry the wings at 400°F for 10 minutes. Open the basket and use pliers to separate the stuck wings. Cook for another 10 minutes. At this point, they should start to look golden brown and the skin will start to crisp up.Chicken wings cooked in air fryerChicken wings cooked in air fryer
