Hilton just launched a new brand focused on apartment-style accommodations

Hilton will embrace the homey feel by launching a new category of apartment-style accommodations in cities across the country in 2026, offering new ways to earn and redeem Hilton Honors points.
Apartment Collection by Hilton will add up to 3,000 new apartments to Hilton’s existing approximately 10,000 apartment-style units through a partnership with condo-hotel rental company Placemakr. Hilton told TPG that the collection will be available for pre-order in the first half of this year.
Options range from studios to four-bedroom apartments, all equipped with furniture and perks like kitchens, separate living areas and laundry, as well as 24-hour on-site support.
“Hilton Collection Residences represents the next chapter in Hilton’s growth story and the way we continue to evolve to meet the growing needs of our guests in this dynamic hospitality industry,” Hilton President and CEO Chris Nassetta said in a statement. “With this new brand, we will continue to lead the future of hospitality, giving guests more ways to choose Hilton for every stay, powered by our service and reliability.”
Designed to combine the best of hotel and apartment accommodation, the new collection offers more space than a typical hotel room, as well as amenities such as fitness centers, rooftop pools, terraces, communal gathering spaces and even on-site dining and retail options.
While Hilton told TPG that the current plan is to launch the new condominium collection in the United States, the hotel brand does operate hotel condominiums globally. Placemakr offers accommodations in more than a dozen locations across the U.S., including New York City, Atlanta, Nashville and Washington, D.C.

Placemakr co-founder and president Bao Vuong said in a statement that the company “pioneered the furnished apartment asset class, property by property, stay by stay, and it’s exciting to continue working with the most valuable hotel brands in the world.”

Hilton Collection Residences will participate in the company’s Hilton Honors loyalty program, offering members the opportunity to earn and redeem points for stays and enjoy member discounts and benefits. Details on earnings and elite benefits have not yet been released.
The decision to launch the new condominium collection follows the debut of the Hilton Honors Adventure category, which features outdoor-focused travel experiences and accommodations such as luxury cruises and glamping.
Hilton isn’t the only hotel expanding its apartment-style offerings. Last year, Marriott opened its first domestic Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy Resort in Florida.
