Ingredient description

- Boneless skinless, thinly sliced chicken breasts: These skinless chicken breasts cook quickly and stay juicy, resulting in tender, tender chicken with every bite.
- Unsalted butter: A little tablespoon of butter adds richness and helps create delicious brown bits in the pan.
- olive oil: Olive oil raises the smoke point and helps the chicken burn evenly.
- Yellow onions: Diced onions soften as they cook, adding sweetness and depth to the sauce.
- chicken soup: Chicken broth (or chicken broth) deglazes the pan and forms the base of the sauce.
- Boursin cheese (garlic and fine herbs) – The Boursin cheese is softened to room temperature and melts smoothly into a creamy vanilla sauce.
- Red chili pepper flakes: Adds a little heat to balance out the richness of the sauce.
- Heavy cream: Heavy cream makes the sauce extra silky and luxurious.
- Fresh parsley: A bright, fresh garnish completes the dish.

Creamy Boursin Chicken Skillet
- Heat 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add to hot skillet.

- Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until chicken is browned and cooked through (internal temperature is 165 degrees F). Place the chicken on a plate and cover with foil to seal in the juices.
- Add diced onion to skillet. Saute for 3-4 minutes, or until onions are soft. Pour the broth into the pot, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Simmer until the broth is slightly reduced.

- Add the Boursin cheese and chili flakes to the skillet and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the cheese melts. Pour in the cream and cook for another minute or two until the sauce thickens.

- Return the chicken breasts and their juices to the pan. Pour warm sauce over chicken.

- Remove skillet from heat, garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with mashed potatoes, rice or a side salad. enjoy!
