Delta Air Lines announces 5 new and expanded Sky Clubs

It has been the flagship of Delta’s lounge network for years. In 2024, the airline launched the luxurious Delta One lounge concept, featuring three beautiful clubs at its hub.
Last year, the airline opened large new Sky Clubs in Atlanta and Salt Lake City, as well as a double-decker Delta One and Sky Club duo in Seattle.
There will also be plenty of news about Delta lounges starting in 2026, albeit less dramatic ones.
Club Sky is coming to… Las Vegas
First, Delta announced the next new city that will have Sky Club.
The airline has revealed plans to build a brand new outpost at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas.
Although LAX is a major tourist destination, it’s not home to any Delta lounges (although last year’s Delta Air Lines star-studded Sphere Takeover event was held in the city).
The bad news: Delta passengers will have to wait a while. Sky Club Vegas isn’t expected to open until 2029 – at least three years from now.
Vegas, meanwhile, still has a plethora of credit card brand lounges, including the world’s oldest American Express Centurion Lounge, not to mention the Capital One Lounge and Sapphire Lounge, both opening in 2025.

Opening soon: Renovated Denver lounge
Earlier than 2029: Another lounge will get a major upgrade.

Delta Air Lines has been (quietly) renovating its Sky Club in Concourse A at Denver International Airport (DEN) in what the airline describes as a complete overhaul of the facility. Members will soon see the fruits of their labor.
The airline told TPG that work on the outpost is expected to be completed within the next two months, with passengers receiving expanded and fully improved facilities.
Two Florida clubs plan massive expansions
Delta Air Lines also announced major expansions to its two Sky Clubs in the Sunshine State.
The airline will relocate and significantly expand its facilities at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and Tampa International Airport (TPA), tripling the size of the JAX outpost to 10,000 square feet by the end of the work.
The expansion of JAX is expected to be completed next year. The TPA Club will open in the airport’s new airside Concourse D in 2028.
Philadelphia renovation completed
Finally, Delta Air Lines’ long-planned revamp of one of the smaller Sky Clubs in its portfolio is now complete.
In recent weeks, the airline has completed a months-long expansion and renovation of its lounge at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).

It’s still a fairly small outpost, measuring just 5,800 square feet. But the airline says it’s much larger than before: the number of seats has increased from 75 to 144.
As part of the renovation, Delta added a new lounge area to the club. The rest of the facility has been lightly updated, including new carpeting and seating. Additionally, less obvious to less frequent travelers but crucial to the experience, the airline has expanded the “backstage” space to provide employees with a larger food preparation area.

This should mean a wider variety of dishes at the buffet.
No guest will confuse this space with a Delta Air Lines lounge or one of the truly premier Sky Clubs, such as the spacious one that opened in Atlanta last year. But Philadelphia also isn’t a core city for the airline, which competes with American Airlines’ fortress hub there.

For Philadelphia travelers who don’t have access to the Chase Sapphire Lounge or the American Express Centurion Lounge, or who find themselves more conveniently located in the D-Concourse Sky Club, it can certainly accommodate more guests than before, and there are some improvements worth mentioning.
