New all-inclusive brand will officially join World of Hyatt in March

Last year, Hyatt announced a joint venture with Grupo Pinero to bring 22 Bahia Principe all-inclusive resorts into the World of Hyatt family.
Now, Hyatt and TPG have announced that all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico and Spain will officially join the loyalty program on March 24, 2026.
A World of Hyatt spokesperson confirmed to TPG that World of Hyatt members can enjoy the following benefits:
- Earn 5 base points for every qualifying $1 spent on room rates
- World of Hyatt Credit Card members earn 4 bonus points for every $1 spent
- Earn Standard Level Bonus Points on qualifying purchases
- Earn points for tier status and milestone rewards
- Earn Brand Explorer Awards on qualifying stays – receive one free night for every five unique Hyatt brands you experience
- Rewards chart engagement, free nights starting from 12,000 points, off-peak
- Elite members can enjoy in-hotel benefits (if available)
These offers are consistent with Hyatt’s other all-inclusive offerings, though it will be interesting to see how the Bahia Principe adjusts to welcome World of Hyatt guests starting in March.
Hyatt has been doubling down on its all-inclusive portfolio for years, starting with the acquisition of Apple Leisure Group, which added more than 100 resorts to its loyalty program. The company has since launched new brands such as lifestyle-focused all-inclusive brand Hyatt Vivid and ultra-luxury Impressions by Secrets.

Overall, the all-inclusive segment has changed dramatically, especially since the pandemic. The quality of food and drink has improved, the resorts are better designed and managed, and people are really leaning towards the “know what you’re paying for” model of vacationing.
Last year, Marriott made a major move in this area, launching the world’s first W-branded all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic. InterContinental Hotels Group’s Kimpton brand and Hilton’s eponymous brand are also venturing into the all-inclusive space. Still, Hyatt Hotels continues to expand with brands already known in the space, like Bahia Principe, but it will be interesting to see whether the company brings other well-known brands, such as Thompson’s, into the all-inclusive space.
bottom line
The Bahia Principe all-inclusive resort will officially join the World of Hyatt on March 24, 2026, and as expected, member benefits are standard. What’s more interesting is which category within World of Hyatt these hotels fall into (although we know some will fall into Category A, the lowest), and whether Hyatt brings its own popular brand into the all-inclusive space.
