Frontier Airlines Promotion: Earn Up to 5,000 Airline Miles

Just in time for Super Bowl Sunday, Frontier Airlines is launching a legendary promotion offering 70 million Frontier travel miles.
You may remember the infamous Pepsi Super Bowl ad from 30 years ago, which promised that if you could accumulate 7 million “Pepsi Points,” you could own a jet. A man named John Leonard took Pepsi’s ’90s promotion to heart and won 7 million soda points, but he never got a plane. After PepsiCo denies it, a court battle becomes the focus of a Netflix documentary.
Fast forward to this year’s Super Bowl, and Frontier is delivering on its promise to Leonard. The Denver-based airline will allow Leonard to redeem his 7 million soda points for 7 million travel miles, effectively giving him free flights for life.
Frontier also invites the general public to participate in the promotion, with 70 million miles up for grabs.
Participating in this deal is very simple. Starting now, you can earn up to 5,000 travel miles by visiting frontiermiles.com and submitting the points or miles you have in any other loyalty program. This isn’t limited to airlines; you can even match your hotel, fast food, or coffee points (and more) to earn enough miles for a free flight with Frontier (not including taxes and fees, which starts at $5.60).
Let’s dig into how to get 5,000 miles.
How to get up to 5,000 travel miles
To get the full 5,000 points, you only need 5,000 points or miles in any other loyalty program. Examples include airline programs such as American Airlines AAdvantage, Delta SkyMiles and United MileagePlus, as well as hotel programs such as Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards, Marriott Bonvoy and World of Hyatt. Fast food items, such as those from McDonald’s and Starbucks, are also included.
Once you have earned bonus points from other programs, go to frontiermiles.com to submit your bonus points. You can also view the event and read additional terms and conditions on the website.
Since you don’t lose points or miles by matching it to Frontier, you actually get free miles. Those 5,000 travel miles are enough to redeem for free flights, but the redemption rate will vary based on your route, seasonality and other factors.

Why is Frontier giving away 70 million miles?
As this year’s Super Bowl approaches, Frontier looks back at John Leonard’s attempt 30 years ago to collect 7 million soda points to win a jet at the Super Bowl event.
In addition to giving Leonard 7 million travel miles (effectively giving him free flights for life), the airline also allows travelers to earn 5,000 Frontier travel miles by matching up to 5,000 points or miles through other loyalty programs.

All you have to do is submit your plan balance through frontiermiles.com and you’re ready to go on your next trip.
Frontier’s loyalty program updates and latest offers
The deal comes as Frontier is refining its Frontier Miles™ loyalty program to provide more value to travelers who don’t fly as frequently as true road warriors.
The airline is now aiming to make mileage accumulation and benefits in its program easier and faster. The airline says daily travelers earn award flights twice as fast as other airlines and five times as fast as other airlines.
Additionally, Frontier’s loyalty program offers achievable elite benefits such as free baggage, seat assignments and upgrades.
In 2025, Frontier tried to attract passengers loyal to other airlines by offering a $69 Gold membership. Later this year, the airline will enhance the benefits of its co-branded cards with a new companion certificate product.
bottom line
It’s easy to earn up to 5,000 travel miles with this promotion. Check your loyalty program balance; you may have points from other rewards programs that can be redeemed for Frontier miles.
Keep in mind that you don’t have to match other airlines, as hotel and other loyalty programs are included.
