2.13 Friday Favorite – Fitness Guru

Hi friends! Happy Friday! Are you OK? Anything going on this weekend? Any plans for Valentine’s Day?
We have a fun weekend planned here: date night with the pilot, our symphony performance, P’s basketball tournament, Liv’s Valentine’s Day dance at school. Lots of fun stuff! During this time, I was studying for IHP’s Centurion Project and batch recording podcasts. Let’s go.

I’d love to hear what happened to you!

(There’s a trend now for ChatGPT to caricature you and your work based on what they know about you. I think it does that, haha.)

The favorite weekly Friday party is here. Here I’m sharing some of my favorite finds from this week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so shout out your favorites in the comments section below.

(Lola wants to tell you, she’s looking more and more like a poodle now. When she was a baby, she looked like a purebred golden retriever, but the poodle is definitely outgrowing it. Plus, if you like something sweet after a meal, these little date bites are the perfect sweet treat.)

2.13 Friday Favorites

Fashionable, beautiful and casual:

I received so many compliments on this dress. I’m Ulla Johnson in my Rent the Runway membership. You can try it here and get 50% off your first month!

Sorry to send this bag back to Vivrelle, but excited about the Hermès bag on the way. You can try it for free for a month using code GINAHARNEY

Nail art from our friends at Glamnetic!

I usually do dip nails, but when they offered a gift, I accepted because Liv loves embossed nails.

Check out how well they performed:

Last weekend we babysat our little niece and I took her to Wild Katz for the first time. She loves it!

On the not so fun side of things… we had a mold company come out to assess the house after I found some mold in the bathroom. I had been following Mold Finders on IG and when a friend mentioned she had a positive experience with their company, I made an appointment for a consultation call and inspection.

I opened a giant can of worms because we found them elsewhere while they were here – under the two sinks in the back and in a sketchy spot next to the P room vent. It’s expensive to get it all removed, but mold can have significant health impacts, so let’s get started.

Diego was very thorough and friendly and did a great job during the inspection and sampling process.

The best part is they run labs on the samples so they know exactly what type of mold it is and can provide the remediation company with a complete plan of action.

Read, watch, listen:

Taking the crew (the girls + one of Liv’s best friends) to the movie theater to watch a “Stray Kids” concert. This is surprisingly amazing. I accidentally learned a lot about K Pop from Liv’s musical taste, but I have to say, most of it is HITS.

Here’s a new Substack post with my weekly workout routine.

Check out this week’s podcast episode! We’re talking about perimenopause and neurological support.

Fitness, Health and Food:

Daily nutritional support comes in a new flavor! I add it to my protein pudding every day because it’s rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and contains 15 grams of protein. I added Truvani so I could get about 30 grams of protein with my breakfast. I usually have chocolate, but couldn’t wait to try wild strawberries – and here I am today.

Try this no-repetition HIIT workout.

Homemade Gelatin Gummies for Gut Health:

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! Have a great weekend and see you soon!

XOXO
