Lynyrd Paras offers a set of oil paintings in the Jonathan Levine Projects debut performance, exploring the primitive and emotional sensations arising from a full bombing. “Assault on Injured Surface” will be watched online until December 31.
“Through a layer of covered faces and images of graffiti texts, Pallas reveals the madness, chaotic emotions that are completely bombed,” the gallery said. “This exhibition illuminates all the exhaustive tension between a person’s inner and outer realms, situations that are defensively out of balance. Achieving similarities between animal impulses and human constraints, these works raise questions about our reactions.”
