White House abandons Donald Trump’s new presidential portrait

The White House abandoned a new official portrait of the president on its website and Facebook page on Monday.

However, the image is very different from the one he placed on the White House in April. The portrait takes Trump’s pivotal moments in the campaign while seeking a second term when the gunmen attempted to assassinate him at an event in Butler, Pennsylvania. The image became the gathering point for his second bid and encouraged “fight, fight, fight.”

It is also different from the photographic portraits of the president in the past. Trump’s first term in 2017 represents Ming Ming, the president smiled in front of the American flag. The portrait released at the January inauguration featured very closely, but still in front of the national flag.

The president is very special about his portrait, calling for the removal of his “intentionally twisted” portrait from the Colorado Capitol in March. This extends to the larger visual program in the United States, including tearing down the current program and ordering back to classical architecture.
