30 tips you can use to help your job search

Using AI in your job search

Job searching can be a difficult and stressful process. You have to polish your resume, nail interviews and the network like crazy to get in the doorstep. Now, AI advancements are now fascinating new possibilities that give your job search a competitive edge. By prompting targeted questions for AI assistants, you can get objective feedback to refine your resume, get insider tips for ACE interviews, and identify vacancies that suit your goals.

But, should you transfer your career to AI tools Claude?

Consulting AI is risky. General or inappropriate advice may derail your efforts. Over-reliance on AI can make you miss organic opportunities or perform poorly. In addition, there are moral issues surrounding AI bias. Still, using wisely enables AI assistants to provide personalized guidance, industry insights, mock interviews and career preparation.

So be strategic. Try to scale up searches with AI, but end up owning the process. With the right balance, AI may be your secret weapon. But only you can truly build your own best future.

Here are 30 tips and brief explanations that I might suggest to clients using AI assistants, such as what I mentioned to help them with job search:

  1. “Please check out my resume and cover letter and propose any improvements.” AI can provide objective assessments to help polish these key documents. Check its recommendations

  2. “What is the most important skill [job title] Now? “Understanding key skills can help you tailor your resume and interviews, or recommend you get additional training.

AI assistants won’t find a job on their own, but it can help you in the best of your footsteps. Don’t be too picky when making prompts to attack AI’s unique features. Focus on using AI preparation, not replacing human efforts. Use technology, but trust your own judgment.

True career satisfaction ultimately comes from within. Even if progress is stalled, keep persisting. Far beyond any single character, you can see the possibility of a long-term life arc unfolding. No matter where you are, there will always be new courses and ways to contribute.

You have done the hard things before and will do them again. When you draw the next chapter, an AI assistant can be one of many tools. #begreat
