Petcube Cam, $32: This simple, compact camera doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but it’s a huge price to be a reliable basic pet camera. Like everyone else in the Petcube lineup, it features 1080p HD camera, night vision and two-way audio. It sits on the hinge and can be tilted up and down if you want to place the video feed horizontally. You will need a subscription care plan from the brand to get any features other than on-site feed. You can set up a “sport area” to get notifications only in a specific area, and then connect the phone’s location to the app to remind you more frequently when you’re not there. You can also share camera feeds with others so they can watch remotely and specify only certain times you want to share. The camera is basic, but it has high-quality camera feeds and premium extras that make it snatched away at this price.
Catit Pixi smart mouse camera for $82: This cute looks like a miniature mouse with oversized magnetic feet attached to the metal stand, mouse leg hinges so you can adjust the height and angle of the camera. It’s cute in nature, but expensive – the lens doesn’t move, and requires microSD to record videos beyond the live feed (with an SD card, you can scroll through the video to see playback over the past few days, record live videos, and save photos and videos to your smartphone’s camera roll). While it’s hard to determine exactly when you want to view the shot, the video feed can be lazy and has several connectivity issues. This is a bit expensive at this price point due to the lack of (lack of) features.
Use a pet camera for $100: This solid pet cam has HD camera, two-way communication, motion detection, built-in memory card and 1 cup hole storage space for thousands or snacks that can be arranged or performed randomly. The video feed is always clear, although the sound is a bit lazy and hard to hear. The parts sections are huge, and even the lowest setting can be allocated a handful of wooden chickens. The alarm sound at distribution was super harsh and my pet was afraid of it – there was no way to keep it silent. Since the holes are placed for distributing coarse grinding, the camera has low angles, which makes it difficult for me to see the area I want. This is a solid pet camera with additional features that become a burden, not an asset.

The feeder is connected to Wi-Fi and controlled through the application and distributes food according to the feeding schedule you create. When the motion sensor and sound sensor are activated, the app also alerts with real-time notifications, and you can even customize the sensitivity and detection range settings of the camera’s downward 145-degree wide-angle lens according to your preferences. It’s a sturdy two-pair pet camera and feeder.
PETKIT POROBOT ULTRA Automatic Cat Trash Box, priced at $800: This beautiful automatic trash can uses cameras and AI technology to monitor usage and monitoring around the automatic box – including stools that actually let you see your cat to help monitor its health more closely. The camera’s 210-degree range angle is connected to the arm in front of the opening, which rotates 180 degrees and follows your cat as it senses movement, and records the outside and inside of the cat box. You can also manually move the camera through the app to the outside or inside of the box. It records in color and black and white, as well as night vision. Through the app, you can live stream camera footage, or watch short clips of every time a cat or anyone, while the videotape near the cat box, when the cat uses it, it also uses AI to identify which cat uses the box in the video taken.

Security cameras allow you to view homes (and pets) when you are not there, but pet cameras often have some pet-specific features, such as the ability to assign snacks or interact with pets through two-way speakers.
