Whether you’re ready to save some cash during the sale or look for a deal any time of the year, here are seven ways you can save money on your next Amazon “Add to Cart” moment.
Points or miles of use
You may have noticed the “With a Stories” option on the Amazon Checkout page. This is not always the best way to use credit card points and miles in terms of currency value, as you can usually get better returns when redeeming points and travel miles.
However, sometimes you can use promotions that can help you save on Amazon orders even with a small amount of points or miles.

Sometimes, the goal of eligible American Express cardholders is to save on Amazon’s offer when paying with points. In the past, TPG employees with qualified US Express Cards were designed to save 10% to 50% of orders when using only 1 American Express membership bonus points. The terms are provided vary, but the concept remains relatively the same. If one of these is available in your account, it can be a great way to save on your next Amazon order.
To take advantage of this offer, you must link a qualified Amex card to your Amazon account and use membership bonus points.

Earn bonus points or miles with the right credit card
If you have an American Express card, check if you have become a target for any Amex offers as Amazon regularly appears as an option. These offers vary by account and can be a great way to earn bonus membership bonus points or when it comes to buying the purchases you will make.
The trick here is to check your AMEX account frequently to see if you are eligible for winning bonuses or additional savings. You must manually add these offers to your AMEX account and then use the card to pay for your Amazon order.

Using Amazon Credit Card
Since we are discussing the best credit cards Amazon buys, let’s talk about Amazon’s own cards: Main visa
There is no annual fee for the card, and new cardholders will receive a $200 Amazon gift card immediately upon approval. You can use your gift card for Amazon Prime Day purchases now. This card is only available for Prime members, so consider determining if it is right for you.
The card grants 10% or more cash in the rotation selection of the rotary items and categories on Amazon.com; 5% cash back for Amazon and Whole Foods markets; 2% cash back for restaurants, gas stations and local transit and commuter purchases; and 1% cash back for everything else.

Use coupons
This tip won’t be surprising, but be sure to click on it if you see a coupon on Amazon.
You will know if your item has coupons, as there will be an icon for a lower price. You can activate the coupon by checking the box next to it. Coupons sometimes only fit your purchase price a few cents, but we also see 15% to 20% off.
Some projects can also be saved by subscribing through Amazon’s subscription and save program.
Track prices and set price alerts
If you haven’t priced an item for a while, it’s hard to know how good the sales are. The website CamelCamelCamel allows you to view the historical price of items on Amazon and get alerts when prices drop.
This website can help you measure the level of good sales. If it is not an emergency purchase, you can use this website to help you decide whether to postpone the item at a higher price before you purchase it.
Get credit for transportation or pick-up
If you have time to back up, you can choose to embargo on your item and save it for “Amazon Day Delivery.” This way, you will get credits that you can use for future digital purchases, such as featured e-books, music, videos, and apps. The amount of credit varies, but according to our tests, it is usually $2 or $3.
You will see this option during checkout when you enter shipping information.
If you decide to send your order to an Amazon pick-up point (rather than your home), you may get a promotion. In the past, we saw $10 points on the next $20 Amazon order by using code and retrieving orders on Amazon Hub (such as Amazon Locker or Locker+).
