dang! People do some righteous stupid things that prove expensive and make them pay for interviews and opportunities.
No pressure
I repeat eight things, Eight things people do scare potential hiring managers. I’m Jeff Allen, a big hunter. People don’t have employed my BS job coaches and career advice worldwide because the process of finding a job and being successful is easier. You know, I’ve seen this happening a lot this time, and what people do makes these things cost a huge price, so here are eight things people do. Hope you don’t do anything; if you do, I’ll just simply say, stop it.
The first one is Information about drugs and alcohol consumption. 41% of managers said this was their focus. second: Inappropriate photos or information on the candidate page. I won’t describe what’s inappropriate, I’ll let you figure it out. third: Poor communication skillsthese may be verbal or written. fourth: Oops, criticism, but you want to call it a former employer or colleague. fifth: Incorrect qualificationlike there is a disconnect between what you say in your resume and what they find elsewhere. Sixth place: Non-professional screen name. This is a classic that we used to only see in our email addresses, but your screen name is also noticed. No. 7: Show links to crime. Like, how stupid are you? at last, Confidential information about past employers. The last person, people I know for many years…well, I remember a few years ago I remember a colleague of mine who had someone interviewed and they wanted to show their expertise, so they came up with documents coming up with the computer system they worked on. The first page they showed them said “confidential information, don’t share it anywhere” and this person brought it to an interview with competitors.
Here are eight things that will cause you to be rejected. I hope you don’t do anything. Again, I’m Jeff Altman, the big hunter. Visit my website Jobsearch.community. I have free content out there to help you, plus insiders, you will get more access and guidance from it.
