What is the biggest mistake a job seeker makes during the search process? I’m Jeff Alman, a big hunter. People hired me to NOBS job search coaches and career advice worldwide because I would be easier to find a job and be successful. This is a question, someone asked me about posts on LinkedIn, I thought about it for a second and then went back to my website. My website currently has 767 errors, so it has nothing to do with my website, but about the job of hunters, I considered this, I realized to me, for me The biggest mistake hunters make is that they are interviewed and they think the job description they see is accurate. Why do I say that? After all, this is the job description you see. You must understand how to generate a job description.

Someone notified Friday afternoon. Then what will happen? The manager called Talent Acquisition and said, “You got the job description we used to hire Jeff?” “Yes, he just quit. Maybe you can launch it on the website, maybe you can get it on LinkedIn, share it with their recruitment resources and see what you can get into my calendar Tuesday.” What did you notice isn’t happening? She or he didn’t update it. They just activated something from the past, It may not reflect what the company is currently looking for. It may not reflect what they are currently looking for. They just know that this was previously approved to fill this work, which is good enough for us to give them to all of these people. So, you have an interview and you have objected to the job description, which is wrong. You are interviewing the novel, and it is not true.

You need to always ask them what they currently think about the role at the beginning of the interview. You just simply say, “You know, I saw the job description, but I want to play your role. Can you tell me about the job and what can I do to help?” The worst part is that they say, “So what do you think the job is?” “Well, as far as I read, you’re looking for someone like this, someone who does that, etc.” It’s really simple, easy. But most of the time, you hear some texture, some things are a little different, so you can adapt the whole method to the interview based on what they just told you. So the biggest mistake is to think that the job description is accurate, because that is not. I’m Jeff Alman and I hope you find this video helpful.
