Dyson’s V15 test is $200 off Prime Day (2025)

We are big fans Dyson here, whether it’s for vacuum or hair styling tools. We’ve tried every Dyson’s powerful vacuum cleaner, and the V15 and its variants are our overall favorite for many reasons: the powerful suction! Particle tracking! Convenient green light to spot dust! Many accessories! The V15 has a trigger button so you can easily turn the vacuum on and off, which is especially convenient in vacuums like stairs. This is an excellent and powerful vacuum that I used in my three-story townhouse, and other wired reviewers are fans.

But the hardest part of Dyson shopping, including the V15, is the price tag. If that’s what keeps you from retreating, the good news is: the v15 Dentect Plus comes with a special attachment and is currently on sale with Prime Day. Not only that, the V15 detection submarine (a version that can be used for wet cleaning) is also on sale.

V15 detection is our usual recommendation, but v15 detection plus a vacuum with different accessories, instead of combining tools, you get a dust brush. Both are great accessories and you can still get a fluffy optical cleaner head, digital motorcycle bar cleaner head, hair screw tool and gap tool. The battery lasts long enough to vacuum two sets of stairs and three bedroom carpets, plus huge living room carpets and quickly vacuum the tiles.

If you want yourself a Dyson that can vacuum your home and wipe the floor, the V15 inspection submarine can do that, too, and it is now on sale. This version adds a wet roller and drip tray, as well as a small reservoir. Once filled with water and slide it into the head, the trigger can be pressed normally to activate wet cleaning. You can then remove the wet attachment to use it again as a regular V15 vacuum cleaner.
