We don’t always know the same way we think. I’m watching Howard Stern’s interview with Rod Stewart. He told the story about how he had eight tracks while doing the album. The record company said, “Do you have another one?”
He left and I “had another one, but it’s not done yet. I can send it to you. Let me know what you think.”
He sent it, they thought it was. In fact, he was the same, but they put it on anyway. That turned into Maggie May, his first solo or his breakthrough blow. From this, you just have to ask yourself, what exactly do people know?
Of course, he was rejected by the first record label that was auditioned, what did they know? They missed a huge entertainer and a lot of money.
So don’t always give you power so quickly.
