Did you make the key mistake of just updating your resume when you are actively looking for a job? #short reveals why this is a huge mistake and what you should do, but stay ahead and prepare for the next opportunity.
Another stupid resume error
If you are like most people, you make a mistake and just update your resume when looking for a job. I don’t care if you are junior high or senior; that’s what most people are used to. This is a mistake. Why? Because you forgot things. You don’t include something that is really useful to you selling yourself to your next employer.
Here is what I hope you will do: every month, well, up to every three months, sit down with yourself, what you have achieved during this period, what your success is, what you have learned during this period, what you have started to work, what advice you have received, the importance of anything new, helping you in this period during this period, how much money you have made during this period, how much you will get, how much time you can save, and how much you have provided you can save a lot.
This will save it for you. So when it comes to writing your resume, maybe you get a call from a search company saying, “Hey, I got you a great opportunity,” and it’s not hard to update. All you have to do is pull out your document and very simply insert what you need to create an impression to appeal to your interview.
So set reminders on your phone to make these updates once a month, up to every three months, but it’s even better if you do it every month. I have more free content on Jobsearch.com/community. Go to the website, explore, download free stuff, and become an insider. So, in this way, I can help you with this job search. You will get more access, and I will add a lot more regularly so that I can guide you and answer your questions as well.
