Cuisinart Propel+ 3 in 1 Review (2025): Pizza on 4 Burner Grill

I am here Pizza oven. I’m on the burger grill. I was on the combo pizza oven and burger grill.

Oh, did I mention that I was in the barbecue shop too? In, uh, gas burner? My new, clumsy Cuisinart Propel+ 3-in-1 on my back patio is one of those evil Franken-Cookers while always looking great and terrible ideas. They are both envious and suspicious.

The Propel+ is a big tweet with two side tables on the one hand, but is basically a standard four-burner grill. But flip the lid on one of the side tables and you’ll find a fifth burner under a cast iron baking dish large enough to make a six-divided burger or pancake. Under the grill, a gas burner is also set up so it can heat a pot of sauce if needed.

However, the coup was a pizza oven. Instead of the usual grill, the lid on this quad burner grill covers it into a squat arch of stainless steel pizza oven and comes with a smoked glass oven door. Also included is a 15-inch Cordierite pizza stone with a wrought iron mounting bracket that is attached to the top of the grill.

Damn it’s a good idea – it seems to be there already. But there are few comparable devices to do. Prompt greed and suspicion.

The debate about grilled pizza

I will suspense. You can definitely use this Cuisinart Propel+ to be proud of you.

However, some failed attempts occurred, partly because I was seduced by false temptations. This Cuisinart is a monster: a 44,000-BTU grill that can be heated to 600 degrees Fahrenheit in 10 minutes, while the under-lid cover can be heated to 600 degrees, and in 10 or 15 it can be heated to 700. With everything high, this thing absorbs enough juice to drain a 20-pound propane tank in less than 10 hours. 11,000 BTU added to the side baking tray.

With the maximum burner, you can also petrochemically heat the Cordierite Pizza pizza north of 800 degrees. At that time, we were near the Pizza Territory of Naples. Or I hope. But, it’s a pity, isn’t it? The middle burner on the pizza stone does super hot the stone. However, the ambient oven temperature will not be high enough, up to below 750 degrees. Unless you turn the intermediate burner to medium, you will be scorching the bottom of the pizza before cooking the top.
