David Lynch’s archives have nearly 450 objects occupying the ground in a huge eclectic auction

If you are a fan of the cult classic Double Peaks, Mulholland Drive, or Eraser head, A movie history might be yours in a unique auction just launched in Los Angeles. Shown together by Turner Classics and Julien’s auction, it is currently open to the weird and exciting archives of visionary filmmaker David Lynch, who passed away a few days before his 79th birthday.

Nearly 450 items from cameras and woodworking supplies to books and generations highlight his incredible creative output and his own personal taste. The auctioneer said the surreal artwork was listed along with film props and souvenirs, musical instruments, coffee makers and cups – “because he could never be more than 15 steps from a damn good coffee.” Register and bid until June 18 on Julien’s website at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
