“Rome is no longer in Rome” by artist Henry Curchod

A selection of new works by London artist Henry Culchod. Born in Palo Alto, California in 1992, Curchod received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New South Wales in 2014. Curchod creates dynamic scenes full of tension and drama, exploring his diverse Kurdish-Iranian descent and the cultural backgrounds that Westerners cultivate on both personal and global levels. His symbolic painting exercises involve unorthodox views and works, illuminating the reality of fantastic, whimsical and anecdotality. “Rome is no longer in Rome” is currently on display in Los Angeles’ liquidation until July 12.
