Hilton surpasses welcome quote
New applicants who surpass the Hiltons can earn 130,000 points after spending $3,000 in the first six months of card membership. There is an annual fee of $0 for the first year, followed by an annual fee of $150 (see Fees and Fees). The offer ends on August 13.
According to TPG’s June 2025 valuation, the portion of the 130,000 bonus is worth $650. The $0 introduction annual fee for the first year is also part of this offer.
This is not the best quote As far as points value is concerned, we have seen it in the history of cards. However, if you value the $0 introduction annual fee for the first year, now may be a good time to apply.

Having most other Hilton credit cards doesn’t qualify for welcome bonuses, but remember that Amex has a “one-student” rule in card bonuses. Amex also has these terms of the following offers:
If you have or own this card, Hilton Honor Amex Ascend card or previous versions of these cards, you may not be eligible for a welcome offer. You may also not be eligible for welcome offers based on various factors such as the history of your credit card balance transfer, your history as an American Express member, the number of credit cards you have opened and closed, and other factors.
Fortunately, if you are not eligible for the bonus, AMEX will notify you before submitting your application. If you receive this message, you can continue to apply without welcomed the offer, or make a hard harvest in AMEX’s credit report.

Hilton surpasses Hilton
Hilton’s crossing card is a great way to win Hilton points.
Based on TPG’s June 2025 valuation, you’ll spend 12 points at Hilton Hotels and Resorts, which is a 6% return on spending. This is better than most of the best credit cards you can book a hotel than you get.
You will also earn 6 Hilton points per dollar for dining at U.S. restaurants (including takeout and delivery), U.S. supermarkets and U.S. gas stations, which allows you to return 3% on these purchases.
Hilton Sparpas can also earn 4 points per dollar on US online retail purchases, maximizing when clicking on the shopping portal. This is a 2% return.
Finally, you will get 3 points per dollar on all other qualified purchases – a return of 1.5%.
These returns on non-Hilton spending are not spectacular compared to the average travel reward card. However, if you want to increase your Hilton Points balance, the Hilton Sparpas Card offers a decent return even if you buy outside of the Hilton Honors program.

Hilton surpasses Hilton’s redemption point
Regarding the Hilton Honors program, the best option is to redeem Hilton points for free at night.
Unfortunately, Hilton did not publish a reward list. Instead, it uses dynamic pricing, where the number of points required for redemption fluctuates based on factors of the hotel’s cash cost, holidays and peak travel periods.
One of my favorite choices is to focus on relatively few attributes with great value. Thanks to Hilton’s dynamic awards ceremony, these awards may be hard to find, but with a little patience and hard work, you can reach some great deals.
Hilton’s points and money choices allow you to pay more cash (less points) when booking. This can be useful when you don’t have enough points to make a full reservation but don’t want to pay the full cost of a hotel room.
Finally, remember that Hilton allows you to use up to 10 other members to aggregate points. If you want to combine your balance with friends or family to continue the more luxurious rewards to the barrier.

Which cards compete with Hilton?
For those looking to earn and redeem points with Hilton, Hilton’s natural rival over the card will be Hilton’s other credit cards. However, among other redemption options, it is worth considering cards that can earn points at Hilton.

Bottom line
While the Hiltons Sperpass doesn’t offer the flexibility of a card like the elite privileges of Amex Gold or Hilton Aspire, it’s still possible that it’s just the next thing you need to stay in the next stay in the Hilton Honors program.
If you are looking for a reasonable annual fee for the Gold Elite status and multiple valuable statement credits, then the Hilton Overtake may be a good choice for you.
