Wyndham Rewards members can sign up for tier upgrades

It’s that time of year: Holiday decorations are already appearing in airports and stores around the world. Luckily, Wyndham Rewards is celebrating the season early, too, by offering a holiday gift to all members: a free, limited-time Tier 1 status upgrade.
You can request a one-time tier upgrade by visiting the Wyndham Rewards upgrade page from now until December 31. If you sign up for this upgrade, you will receive the next level of membership by the end of 2025. If you already have Wyndham Diamond status, you can sign up before December 31st to receive five times the points on qualifying stays.
“We all know what travel is like this time of year — crowded airports, crowded cars and family gatherings, and there always seems to be a few unexpected guests,” Mike Shiwdin, group vice president of loyalty and guest engagement for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said in a release. “Wyndham is here to help. Whether it’s a night at the Days Inn, a long weekend at the La Quinta, or a splurge at the beautiful Wyndham Grand, this upgrade is our way of reminding travelers that with Wyndham Rewards, every stay can be even better.”
This vacation upgrade is available to all Wyndham Rewards Blue, Gold and Platinum members. If you are not already a Wyndham Rewards member, you can sign up and request to upgrade your vacation to Gold status. Please note, however, that upgraded status is not eligible for a Caesars Rewards status match.
Wyndham Gold members are typically required to stay 5 nights per calendar year, Platinum members are required 15 nights, and Diamond members are required 40 nights. But remember, you can also enjoy Gold status with the Wyndham Rewards Earner® Card or by purchasing a Wyndham Rewards Insider subscription. At the same time, cardholders of Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Cards automatically obtain Platinum membership, and cardholders of Wyndham Rewards Earner® Business Cards automatically obtain Diamond membership.
Wyndham Rewards Earn Card, Wyndham Rewards Earn Extra Card and Wyndham Rewards Earn Business Card information is collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

This limited-time status upgrade will provide you with improved status for less than two months. However, if you’re traveling and staying at a Wyndham Rewards hotel in the next few months, it’s certainly worth taking part in the tier upgrade offer.
