Hyatt has just launched a new convenient bonus feature

Hyatt Hotels just offered a convenient new feature for those looking for rewards on branded websites.
Hyatt World told TPG that when guests look for reward availability in a specific property, they now see a points calendar showing when there will be reward nights again and are not available. “Members can adjust dates, stay times, guests and room types to find the right booking for them,” a Hyatt spokesperson said in an email press release.
As you can see in the screenshot below, when you try to book a specific hotel, the Points Calendar feature now appears, in this case Hyatt Regency Chicago Parker.
Once you click the link, it opens a calendar that displays availability monthly. As you can see, I was able to book on Thursday but not on Friday night.

Coincidentally, I am currently using Hyatt Point World at Hyatt Regency Chicago Parker. When I booked, I had to search around for nights with availability. This new feature will make my search easier.

For popular hotels like the Kauai Resort & Spa, it will be very useful, where it’s hard to get availability. Here you can see how many consecutive days of February 2026 are available.

Now, interactive maps during Hyatt Search also allow you to see where dots are available.
“If members have a purpose and are interested in seeing which hotels have rewards, the map now shows the lowest points rate, if any or cash rate, which can make it easier for our members to redeem if the reward night is not available,” Hyatt said.

You can now see updated reward availability on the Hyatt app and on the web.

Bottom line
This new feature from the World of Hyatt will make reward search easier and more productive. The ability to view reward availability in calendar format is changing members for some time. I’m also a big fan of the map feature, which can make it much easier to find award nights in popular destinations like Hawaii.
As Hyatt told us, the goal is to “…make reward travel easier than ever so members can confidently turn their views into memorable accommodation.”
