For today’s post, I want to share one of my favorite simple salad recipes.

They prioritize nutritious and dense produce from organic growers, which is usually a spot for us. 😉 One of the first dishes I ordered was the real food kitchen Tuscan kale salad, and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since.

After massage the kale, let the salad sit at room temperature and apply the kale with oil, lemon juice, garlic and seasoning. This will soften the kale and deepen the flavor. Add grated cheese and bread crumbs before serving that perfect crunch and salty flavor.

How to Make Tuscan Kale Salad

Remaking a real food Tuscan kale salad at home is easier than you think. The key is to use fresh ingredients and take some simple preparatory steps to enhance the flavor and texture.

raw material

2 bunches of Tuscan kale (also known as lacinato kale), dried and chopped

3 lemons, just squeezed

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil (this is my historical favorite)

2 garlic, grind into olive oil

Salt, pepper and red pepper flakes (adjust the seasoning)

1/2 cup grated Grana Padano or Parmigiano Reggiano cheese

1/2 cup toasted whole wheat crumbs (or gluten-free crumbs)

Taste salt and red peppers

In a salad bowl, stir in lemon juice, cup of extra virgin olive oil, and garlic salt and red pepper flakes.

Add chopped kale to the bowl and toss it until it coats evenly. Gently massage the kale for 2-3 minutes to help break down the fibers.

Allow the salad to room temperature for at least 30 minutes to blend the flavors and soften the vegetables.

Before serving, add grated cheese and bread crumbs and toss.

Season and adjust the salt and red pepper if needed. Before serving, shave with cheese.
