What should I do if I lose reference?

The initial question (I share) is actually the wrong question. Here I answer the right questions and try to help someone take action.
How to sell yourself as a job seeker
The initial question I received was: “If you lose contact with your employer and past references, do you still want you to have hope as a job seeker?”
As you can see, I changed the question to: “What if I lose my connection to my past employer and reference?”
But what is revealed most is the practical problem.
“Everything is lost.”
“I’m doomed to fail.”
Stop it. Seriously, stop it. You have a brain. Stop for a second and say, “If I want to find my best friend, and I haven’t spoken for 5 years, what should I do?” The answer is that you’ll look for them on Facebook. You’ll look for them on LinkedIn. You will be online. Why is this different?
The truth is, it’s no different. To re-establish contact with people you haven’t been in contact for a while, you first ask yourself, “Where did they tell me they live?” Then you’ll do a Google search.
“Where do we work together?” He then went to LinkedIn search and searched for them with “current or past employers” which obviously would be past employers. You can always do a Facebook search to see if you can contact them and give them a simple note and say, “I’m sorry I’ve been out of the loop for a while. I want to contact you. Do you have a few minutes of speech? How do I get to know you?”
Just contact! You may feel uncomfortable. Overcome it! They are humans and may need you at some point, right?
flexible. friendly. Acknowledge that you want to do something different in the future. Use online tools to contact them. You will find them. This is not difficult.
