Creamy Burrata Pasta – Fresh Family Meal

This butter burrito recipe is the perfect meal for busy weekdays or special gatherings. It comes with cherry tomatoes, garlic cloves and fresh basil leaves to create a creamy texture and flavor for every bite. Made from simple ingredients you can find in any grocery store, this dish blends together in 40 minutes. The addition of cream cheese has brought this pasta sauce to a whole new level, which is a huge blow to pasta lovers. Pair it with fresh Italian bread and drizzle olive oil for a perfect meal.

Burrata pasta is best enjoyed with hot and freshness, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. It should heat up slowly and you can add a drop of water to help loosen the sauce if needed. I don’t recommend freezing this dish.
Burrata cheese is a fresh mozzarella ball stuffed with a small piece of cheese, heavy cream or cream that is clotted inside. When cut, the contents of the interior overflow, giving anything it offers a delicious, rich, buttery addition.
Burrata Pasta itself makes a great vegetarian meal, but you can also eat it with cooked chicken, shrimp or meatballs for extra protein. Garlic bread, bread sticks or rolls are good noodles for this dish and can be used to soak up any excess sauce and cheese. It is also delicious when served with the green salad. No matter how service is, it’s the perfect dinner.
Pasta → Try Penne, Rigatoni or Fettuccine for different pasta dishes.
Burrata cheese→ Replace with fresh mozzarella.
Italian seasoning → Use fresh herbs such as oregano, thyme or rosemary.
Stewed tomatoes → Replace the rustic flavor with roasted tomatoes or grape tomatoes.
Butter → Exchange with extra virgin olive oil for a lighter option.

Creamy Burrata Pasta Recipe
- In a large storage pot or Dutch oven, melt the butter over medium heat. Add chopped shallots and sauté until golden and tender, about 2-3 minutes.

- Mix cherry tomatoes, salt and Italian seasoning and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes or until the tomato skin begins to slide off.

- Add Italian-style stewed tomatoes and bring the mixture to a boil. Make sure to stir frequently. Reduce the heat to low heat and cook for 5 minutes. Using mashed potatoes or tablespoons, lightly crush all the tomatoes into large chunks.

- Add hot water and stir well. Increase the heat and boil the mixture for about 2 minutes. After boiling, add the spaghetti. Depending on the size of the pan, you may need to split the spaghetti in half to make it fit. Stir well until the spaghetti is completely covered with seasoning, then reduce the heat to low heat.

- Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the pasta is almost completely softened. Mix the chopped basil and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes or until the pasta reaches the desired texture and the sauce thickens.

- If necessary, move the spaghetti and seasoning to a plate. Add matte cheese and slices before serving.

- Serve with fresh basil and tomatoes, optional.
