Upgraded Hyatt Hotel

While we usually consider room upgrades as a privilege reserved for travelers with elite status, Hyatt World allows its members to use points to upgrade to qualifying paid fees. Most importantly, the upgrade cost is reasonable.
- Club Room Upgrade Award: 3,000 o’clock per night
- Suite Room Upgrade Award: 6,000 pm per night
- Superior Suite Upgrade Award: 9,000 minutes per night
TPG’s valuation in July 2025, Hyatt points have a world value of 1.7 cents, a valuation of 3,000 points, and a value of about $51. There are many Hyatt hotels with club-level lounges, breakfast and other lounge benefits that will offer value of over $51 per night. So if you are not using Hyatt Globalism status or club lounge access rewards, you should consider this.
If you have booked a qualified paid accommodation and then decide later on you want to upgrade, you must call to book. However, if you booked a paid accommodation and want to upgrade your room with points When bookingyou can usually do this online. Therefore, the latter strategy is easier.

While only certain paid tax rates are eligible for upgrades, this may be a good strategy if suites and premium rooms are much more expensive than standard rooms.

Hyatt Redemption at an all-inclusive resort

Another way to get more value from your point of view is to use them at an all-inclusive resort. Now Hyatt’s portfolio includes 10 all-inclusive brands you can use in Hyatt Point World.
Hyatt’s Miraval Resorts reward nights include a $175 per person resort, gourmet, snacks, drinks, wellness activities, lectures and fitness classes. However, Miraval Properties’ reward nights follow a unique reward chart that depends on the type of room and the number of guests that will occupy the room. For standard rooms with single occupancy, you need to redeem 40,000 on off-peak dates, standard dates are 45,000 and peak dates are 50,000 on peak dates.
Meanwhile, Hyatt’s other all-inclusive brands including Hyatt Zilara, Hyatt Ziva, Secret Resorts & Spas, and Dreams Resorts & Spas are part of Hyatt’s inclusive collection, with another awards list in the collection. Here is the bonus chart showing the required points of delights for each night in the standard room in the inclusive collection:

Transfer the ultimate reward point to Khyde

As mentioned above, Hyatt uses relatively cheap reward charts.
Hyatt hotels usually cost less than equivalent Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton Honors Properties. As a result, TPG’s valuation will be valued at Hyatt Points higher than Marriott and Hilton points. This difference in value can put you in your footsteps in terms of transferable currency.
Chase Ultimate Rewards allows you to transfer points to three hotel plans: Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy and IHG. The pass ratios are all the same (1:1). However, reward nights at Hyatt Hotels are usually less than booked with Marriott or IHG points. As a result, transferring to Hyatt World is one of the best ways to redeem the ultimate reward points for chasing.
If you want to earn more Chase Ultimate Rewards Points to transfer to Hyatt, consider the following cards:
If you have one (or more) of the above cards, you can combine the final reward points in one account. You can then effectively convert cash returns on the following cards into fully transferable ultimate reward points:
If you have a qualified card, you should also consider the point-up option. This option allows you to redeem the final reward point by selecting the Luxury Hyatt Regency by ChaseTravel℠.
Use Hyatt Point to Avoid Holiday Fees

Unfortunately, vacation fees are becoming increasingly common, especially in Hawaii and major U.S. cities. Fortunately, Hyatt members receive free waivers when redeeming points (while still receive resort benefits).
In hotels that charge an extra $50 per night, such as Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, a abandoned resort fee can save you a lot of money. We recommend comparing the total cash rate to the total point when deciding whether to redeem the Hyatt Point.
Bottom line
The world of Hyatt Program is easy to fall in love with its valuable, easy-to-earn points, especially when using the easy-to-use chase ultimate reward transfer option. Whether you are a long-time Hyatt loyalist or a free agent for hotels, you can find a lot of value in the Hyatt program.
Make sure to take advantage of the extreme purpose of reward charts, remember to consider upgrading to premium rooms with your perspective, and not to ignore the all-inclusive hotels of the value Hyatt Regency.
