Gamescom 2025 is coming and it will be one of the biggest gaming events of the year. Over the course of a few days, Cologne will once again be the center of the game world, with publishers, developers and fans all gathering for a week, packed with world premieres, hands-on demonstrations and more live showcases instead of reasonable viewing time.
Whether you’re surprised by AAA blockbusters, independent darlings or the chaos of live events, this year’s lineup looks like a pile of piles. I saw many big sequels last year, including Border 4 and Civilization VII. Honestly, there won’t be much difference in this year, we know Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 It is an important game to start the celebration.

Live broadcast of the opening ceremony

Xbox will be broadcast on Gamescom for two consecutive days, starting on August 20 and again on August 21. Both broadcasts start to brighten, early on – 9am/8am/CT/6am PT – and will be viewed on YouTube, Twitch, Tiktok and Facebook.
Gamescom 2025: What to expect
As mentioned above, the big headlines for this year’s event are Black Ops 7. But for anyone who surpasses the big shooter of the year, Microsoft has something special: silka sequel to the long-awaited 2017 sleeper hot action platform Hollow Knight.
Xbox’s showcase will also offer new updates on several announced titles, including Grounding 2,,,,, Goalkeeper,,,,, Ninja Gaiden 4,,,,, Outside World 2and Overwatch 2.
We may also end up hearing pricing details for the Asus Rog Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X Handheld Systems, the first time Microsoft has seriously pushed into handheld PC gaming. Depending on the leak, these things may not be cheap. A leaked high-end Xbox Ally X costs 899 euros (about $1,047), making it $100 more expensive than the 2TB version of the Xbox Series X.
