At the heart of New York Fashion Week, a collective continues to capture attention, celebrate culture, and redefine what inclusivity in fashion truly means. Founded by Xavier Walker, Caribbean Fashion Collective (CFC) is a dynamic platform dedicated to spotlighting emerging designers, models and creatives from the Caribbean and beyond.
What started as a vision to create a space where underrepresented voices could shine has grown into one of the most exciting new movements. The collective’s presentations blend bold art, cultural storytelling and global appeal, reminding audiences that fashion is as much about identity as it is innovation.
A platform rooted in culture and collaboration

CFC’s mission is simple yet powerful: Foster creativity and cultural diversity in the global fashion industry. The organization provides a platform for emerging and established designers to showcase their work to an international audience while building bridges across regions and communities.

“Caribbean fashion is vibrant, expressive and deeply rooted in tradition,” said the founder Xavier Walker. “Our aim is to put this art on the same stage as any major fashion capital, while creating opportunities for those who would otherwise not have access to it.”

Along with Walker are co-founders Noca Vasquezcasting director, model and body positivity advocate Steviela Darvillan accomplished model, model coordinator and stylist. Together they build a network that extends beyond the runway, connecting designers with stylists, sponsors, buyers and media.

From island inspiration to international recognition
in the recent CFC New York Fashion Week SS26 Showcasedesigners include Esthete Artwear, Kudos Designs, MAK GIOUS, Atelier Sanel, Kimblyne Henry Designs, Naballah Chi of Carnival Catwalk and Rêve Jewelery Transform the show into a celebration of craftsmanship and Caribbean identity.
