- Stir to combine. Arrange butter slices evenly on top of mixture. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.


- Remove foil and continue baking, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Fluff and stir lightly before serving.
