Limited time 40% transfer bonus: Chase to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

Book your end-of-year flight or your 2026 getaway now!

Currently, Chase Ultimate Rewards offers a 40% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. This is a bigger than normal transfer bonus and you have until November 20 to take advantage of the deal. Then, until December 5, the transfer bonus will be reduced to 30%.

Chase points transfer to Flying Club at a 1:1 ratio. However, with this transfer bonus, 1,000 Chase points is equivalent to 1,400 Flying Club points.

Thanks to Virgin Atlantic’s special fares, you can reserve a business class seat to Europe by transferring only 21,000 Chase points.

Since Virgin Atlantic launches new Saver Award prices in 2024, you can book one-way flights to London from select US cities at the following prices:

  • Economy Class: 6,000 points
  • Premium Economy: 10,500 points
  • Upper class: 29,000 points

However, to take advantage of Chase’s 40% transfer bonus, you can simply transfer the following amount to Flying Club:

Note that while special fares may have lower redemption rates, Virgin Atlantic imposes hefty airline surcharges, with first class fares exceeding $200 one way. Additionally, flights from London will be more expensive due to UK Air Passenger Tax. That being said, it’s still a good deal to redeem your points and pay over $500 for a lie-flat business class flight, potentially saving you thousands of dollars.

For example, here’s a business class flight from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) in February for 29,000 points plus $563 in taxes and fees. Booking the same flight with cash would cost $3,216.

Specifically, you simply transfer 21,000 Chase points to your Flying Club account. By booking this deal, you’ll get a value of 12.63 cents per point, which is significantly higher than TPG’s November 2025 valuation of Ultimate Rewards points (2.05 cents per point) and Flying Club points (1.3 cents per point).

While grabbing a Saver level seat is a great deal, Virgin Atlantic does use dynamic award pricing, which means some business class fares can cost well over 100,000 points.
