Rove Miles Promotion: Earn bonus miles on hotels, gift cards, and more

We love TPG’s offer—especially when it stacks with other rewards.
Rove Miles’ new “Built Better” promotion offers huge rewards on hotels, purchases, referrals and more from February 7-11. You can redeem Rove Miles on Rove’s booking platform or transfer them to 13 airline and hotel partners.
If you’re not a Rove Miles member yet, between now and February 11, click TPG’s link and join for free to get 1,500 bonus miles.
Here’s how you can maximize your Rove Miles earnings over the next few days.

Rove Miles offers higher earnings on select hotel bookings
The promotion offers 40% more Rove miles on “loyalty-eligible” hotel bookings, meaning you’ll earn 7 Rove miles for every $1 spent at points-reserved hotels under brands like Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton.
The ability to stack Rove miles with hotel loyalty rewards is one of the program’s standout features, but loyalty-eligible hotels typically only earn 5 Rove miles per $1 spent (while other hotels may earn as many as 28 miles per $1 spent).
With this promotion, you can earn up to 7 miles per $1 spent, in addition to the hotel points and Elite Stay points you earn during your stay. Additionally, the hotel is the merchant of record for loyalty-eligible hotels, so you can earn more points by paying with a hotel’s co-branded credit card.
If this sounds too good to be true, I recently test-drove a loyalty-eligible Rove Miles reservation and can attest that it actually works. Simply enter your hotel membership number when booking and your reservation will appear in your hotel account, just as if you booked directly with the hotel.

Rove Miles launches gift cards to boost revenue

Rove Miles also offers higher gift card earn rates (5 miles per dollar) for more than a dozen popular merchants, including Giant Eagle, CVS, Amtrak, Shell, Disney, Grubhub, Instacart, Netflix, Starbucks, Target, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, Marriott and Uber.
If you shop at these places frequently, it might make sense to purchase a gift card through Rove Miles. You know you’ll use it later, and you’ll earn 5 transferable miles for every $1 you spend, in addition to the rewards you earn through the credit card you use to pay. You can maximize your rewards by paying with a card that earns more than 1 point per dollar spent on non-rewards spending, such as the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card or the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card.
Or, you can purchase a Visa or Mastercard gift card to use on almost any future purchase and earn 4 Rove miles for every $1 spent. Since my dogs have some vet bills coming up, I’m considering purchasing one of these gift cards to maximize those purchases.

Recommend Rove Miles and get bonus miles
Like many credit cards and loyalty programs, Rove Miles offers a referral bonus for existing users who refer new members. But during this promotion you can earn double the money by referring friends and family.
When others join Rove through your personal referral link, you’ll both receive 1,000 bonus miles instead of the usual 500 miles. Plus, you’ll earn 10% of the Rove miles they earn on purchases and cash travel bookings in the first six months (up to a maximum of 50,000 miles per referral after they earn 250 bonus miles).
To find your referral link, go to your Rove Miles profile and click “Refer to Earn Miles.”
