According to the Panama Playlist, JD Vance, Pam Bondi and Sam Altman can’t stop listening.

From JD Vance Dinnertime Bieber to Sam Altman’s Shazaming for the incredible hit song, the website claims to have published Spotify listening habits for members of the Trump administration, tech leaders and journalists, which are on the go.
“We have been crawling their accounts since the summer of 2024. Playlists, live listening feeds, everything. We know what songs they played, when and how many times,” the Panama playlist website reads. “With a little detective, I can say with almost certainty: Yes: Yes, yes.”
Are all accounts real? At this point, it is hard to say. The listed accounts have not been verified by wire. New York Times reporter Mike Isaac told Wired that the songs listed on the website listed under his name match his true Spotify listening history. Five Spotify listeners on the website confirmed the accuracy of their published data. So I spent the whole morning obsessed with listening to every song on the “Panama Playlist”, enjoying the voyeuristic viewpoint to explore the listening habits of powerful people.
Representatives of the playlist did not respond to instant requests for comment.
Vance’s potential cooking playlist has been reported before this, with Justin Bieber’s “Once Upon a Time” and Backstreet Boys’ “I Want That” spinning. “Panama Playlist” also claims that U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi is huddled in Nelly “Girls just want to have fun.” (I mean, some of them also require reproductive rights).
It seems that even gay Republicans can’t resist Brat Summer’s gravity attraction, which seems to be the nominee for the Secretary of State for the growth, energy and environment of Charli XCX’s “Apple” over the past year. If the list is accurate, Herberg will soon be a member of the Trump administration on the gay popular train. According to the Panama Playlist, Chappell Roan’s “Female Animals” and Addison Rae’s “Diet Pepsi” clock are his next first two songs. I wonder how the potential boss of Helberg would think of him becoming Chappell head, especially considering the artist said “Fuck Trump” last year.
The songs that Silicon Valley tech leaders are allegedly repetitive are particularly unexcited. The public Spotify account seems to have a connection to Openai CEO Sam Altman, the company seems to follow a playlist from one of Altman’s longtime friends, which contains multiple Shazam playlists, Dixon Dallas’s “Good Lookin”, a country music gay parody, Elliott’s “Get ur ure freak on.” Elliott’s ubiquitous hits are mainly lyrics “Get Ur Freak” that are repeated over and over, which is particularly ironic for Shazam. Other Altman’s songs seem to include: Foster the People’s “Pumping Kick”, Lorde’s “Responsibility”, Ed Sheeran’s “Team A”, Nicki Minaj’s “Fly”, and Adele’s “Make You Feel My Love”.
