Born in Dayton, Ohio, Brock is currently located in Atlanta, Georgia, using beyond sophisticated spray gun technology to reconstruct the iconic images he found online. He first uses computer software, then manipulates images in real life and adjusts his molds to create a pleasant feeling of uneasiness. While favoring popular culture figures such as basketball players and musicians, Brock does not shy away from artistic historical themes or more obscure references. Finally, Brock’s purpose is to “exaggerate and amplify”, using an over-quality palette, repeat and invert, his paintings are meditations on digital communication and visual communication.
