Delta Airlines currently has some incredible low-reward flights. You can book uninterrupted flights from New York City to Rome or Dublin, with only 26,000 Skymiles round trips. It’s ridiculous for transatlantic tickets to these two major European hubs.
Better yet, if you have a Delta American Express card, you can book the same itinerary for just 22,100 miles, as Delta cardholders can save 15% on reward bookings. The deal is for economic flights at John Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York City. From December to February, we found a lot of prices, but you should keep using it now if you are interested.

While not that cheap, we also found dates for Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and Miami International Airport (MIA), as low as 41,000 miles, so it’s worth searching.

Log in to your Skymiles account on the Delta website and search for the flights you need – in this case, log in to the Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO) in Rome. Then, click the Price Calendar tab to see the lowest price. The screenshot below shows you the availability of this deal in late February and early March.

It was a round trip from Big Apple to Old Town in January, again with only taxes and fees of $26,000 and $70.
If you are considering a vacation in Europe, you can also find this great price in December. Just to reiterate that using a Delta Coprand card means you only use 22,100 Skymile points.

Bottom line
This is one of the ridiculous deals you kick yourself in order not to book. Round trips to Italy or Ireland – as well as uninterrupted flights – less than 30,000 Skymiles won’t happen often, especially with Delta Miles. Therefore, take advantage of this rare opportunity.
