Sergio Hudson brings cultural destination for spring and summer 2026, Olandria on the runway
In spring/summer 2026, Sergio Hudson offers an update that feels like homecoming and home DNA. Hudson draws inspiration from African heritage and his own established regulations to launch a lineup of colour, texture and charm, a vision that celebrates roots and reinvents.
At the heart of the collection is a custom mud cloth redesign from traditional textiles and then splashing on the runway in pop art tones.
These bold prints set the tone for jewel-colored silk, embroidered velvet and intricate handmade workmanship at night. This effect is celebrated, but rooted is a modern nod to African influence without a literal explanation.
Hudson balanced these statements with the brand’s signature: tailored suits (expanded to men’s clothing this season), waist-length bondage and sculptural silhouettes easily transition from spring to fall. The vibrant yellow and turquoise are restored by dark blue-green wagyu cloth to form a palette that is both bold and wearable.
“Returning to the root really means twofold for me,” Hudson shared.Have an African influence in print and manufacturing, but it is also about returning to the bright colors and keen tailoring brands that have always been famous. I wanted to play with the charming fabrics and bold colors, bringing some light and joy to the world when it feels so heavy. These inspiration comes from my clients – these incredible women now persevere with such strength and grace, and they fuel the spirit of this collection. ”
The runway also features surprise moments Love Island Star Olandria made her debut, running amid Sergio Hudson’s powerful designs and highlighting the brand’s reach beyond fashion.
The show further collaborates with Esor Marie to blend Sergio Hudson’s exquisite power with Esor Marie’s new aesthetic. Together, these works emphasize Hudson’s ability to merge heritage, luxury and cultural pride.
