Royal Caribbean applause for the ocean is the largest ship ever known as the Los Angeles home

Los Angeles residents have a new way to travel to Mexico.

On May 31, the Royal Caribbean repositioned the ocean’s massive applause for a Mexican cruise toward the port of Los Angeles.

“We’re big here,” said Vicki Freed, senior vice president of Royal Caribbean sales during a Q&A session, media and travel agencies’ new route sailing, Vicki Freed, senior vice president of Royal Caribbean, said. She means literally and imagely.

The 4,182 passengers of the ocean applauded was Los Angeles’ first Royal Caribbean quantum class ship and the largest ship ever to sail out of the port based on capacity. (Of course of the 168,666 ton total, it is a little smaller than the 169,116 ton Norwegian currency store, which is also located here.)

Ocean applause propaganda is one of five quantum ships in the Royal Caribbean, including facilities such as indoor parachuting, bumper cars and Polaris Observation Capsules that lift passengers at an altitude of 300 feet.

Mexico’s itinerary takes three to eight nights from the ocean clapping in Los Angeles, visiting ports such as Catalina Island, California, as well as Ensenada and Capo San Lucas in Mexico.

This repositioning also marks a major expansion of the Royal Caribbean, which previously sailed only 3,368 passenger navigators from Los Angeles to Mexico. Navigators will continue sailing from Los Angeles until October 2026.

“When we say the West Coast is ‘the best coast’, we get strong,” Freeri said.

In October this year, the ocean’s quantum (another quantum-class ship is similar to applause) will also sail from Los Angeles to Mexico. Starting in October 2026, 3,602 passenger travelers of the ocean will also sail from Los Angeles.

The three-to-seven nights itinerary will include stops at Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada and Mexico’s La Paz, which will be the brand’s new destination.

The Royal Caribbean had originally planned to open the ocean this summer to sail from Tianjin, China, but it was finally decided to move the ship to Los Angeles, part of the West Coast expansion.

The ocean bubbles sailed from Japan and sailed from Japan on May 31. Columbia, not Seattle. In September 2026, Ovation will return to Los Angeles and will remain in April 2027.

The Royal Caribbean isn’t the only cruise route that has expanded its business in Los Angeles. Virgin Voyages will launch its first Los Angeles voyage on the brand new brilliant lady ship in 2026, which can accommodate 2,770 passengers.

In 2024, the Carnival Cruise begins sailing from the Port of Long Beach, Carnival Carnival Carnival, just a few miles from the Port of Los Angeles.

Mexico’s West Coast cruise market is definitely heating up. Hopefully this will mean that potential passengers take advantage of…or at least offer a variety of deals with more convenient navigation dates for more travelers.
